We are seeing increasing delays with items that we are posting to customers overseas

The lack of space for freight and mail due to the reduced number of flights is causing delays, even to premium, tracked services 

We are in contact with all carriers regarding any outstanding items, but please be aware that the lack of aircraft capacity does seem to be delaying items leaving the UK considerably

Just a quick reminder that it is a Bank Holiday tomorrow here in the UK

Therefore, the Post Office will be closed, so we will be unable to post any items until Tuesday 26th May

This will of course delay the despatch of items and as Royal Mail do not work on Bank Holidays, there will be no UK postal deliveries on Monday either 

Please allow a couple of extra days for items to arrive

We have been seeing quite a lot of delays with parcels we have been posting out in the last few weeks, which is understandable, given the current circumstances. We have also seen delays in items reaching us

Royal Mail, like many other companies, appear to have been struggling with staff absences due to Covid-19 related illnesses and staff self isolating

They have now announced that, for the next few weeks, they will only be delivering parcels and other priority items, such as Special Delivery and Signed For on Saturdays, to try and clear any parcel backlogs at sites

It's a Bank Holiday here in the UK today, Friday 8th May, to celebrate the 75th anniversary of VE Day 

As a result, all Post Offices are closed and we won't be able to send anything until Saturday 9th, so bear in mind anything purchased today will be delayed by a day
