It's Easter weekend here in the UK, the same as many other countries

The Post Office, Royal Mail and other carries are closed today, Friday 18th April and will also be closed on Monday 21st

Although Royal Mail are delivering on Saturday, any orders placed over the Easter weekend cannot be despatched until Tuesday 22nd April 

If you do order over the Easter break, please allow a few extra days for your delivery to arrive

It's the time of year when Royal Mail increase their postage charges 

We've amended the postage costs on the website to reflect this 

It's worth pointing out that the cost of a first class large letter is now very close to the cost of a small 48 Tracked parcel 

I know we shouldn't be encouraging you to spend more, but it may be worth thinking about consolidating your orders to try and keep postage costs down

Just to let you all know that we are away for a winter break from 6th to 23rd March 

We won't be able to post orders during this time or answer any calls 

We should be able to answer emails, so any questions send them through and we'll reply when we can 

​All orders placed in our absence will be posted upon our return

An interesting addition to our diorama selection 

Our friends at Brush Works Studios have supplied us with a resin item that allows you to recreate the muddy footprints of tankers etc on your tank or diorama

The stamp is sold as a pair, so one left boot and one right boot 

Can be used as a stamp or to make identations or maybe for more general craft projects perhaps

​Perfect to add a bit of quirky detail to your collection 

It's Lunar New year today and this is an important date for all of our Chinese suppliers

The snake symbolises intelligence, mystery and renewal 

This year will bring new opportunites for growth and change

Yes, that's right, we've been at this for 15 years now! 

Not quite sure of the exact date we began back in 2010, but we decided it's never too early to get the party started 

We'll be running some events and promotions to celebrate and we'd love you to join our Facebook Group to experience some of these 

We recently posted on there asking everyone to post pics of the model that got them into the hobby and the replies were many and various

It goes without saying that these all very much depend on the weather and the postal services being able to deal with increased demand acorss the country

Therefore, if you do want an order prior to Christmas, please place it as soon as possible and remember the cut off time is 9pm for an item to be posted the following day 

Yes, it is a bit early to mention these! 

However, bearing in mind the variables such as weather, busy parcel carriers etc, we all have to plan ahead

Wednesday 18th December - Second Class Post 

Thursday 19th December - Parcelforce 48 

Friday 20th December - Parcelforce 24, 1st Class and 48 Tracked 

Saturday 21st December - 24 Tracked 

Please bear in mind that we now have to book a collection in advance, so you will have to make your purchase before 9pm on the day before 

As you know we use various postal carriers to send out our items, both UK and overseas

It's important for your address details to be correct and fully complete when ordering

We would ask you to please check your address is fully complete when placing your order. Ensure the property name and/or number are on the address, along with the road /street name

Also, if you are in an apartment or flat, please mention this in your address 

For overseas buyers we CANNOT send to a PO Box, so we will need a full address to despatch items 

If you are saving your address on your profile, again, please make sure all of your details are entered  correctly before saving 

As Christmas approaches, incorrect/incomplete details could cause your delivery to be delayed or even delay your order being despatched, as we have to contact you to confirm your details
